Hey everyone,

I've set up a meeting area for the Ubuntu Bug Jam at the Clinton Macomb
Public Library on June 9th at 6:30pm.

The address is:

Clinton Macomb Public Library Main Branch
40900 Romeo Plank Road
Clinton Township, MI 48038

http://cmpl.org

Google Map available here:

This program is neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Clinton-Macomb Public
Library.

There is free wifi available, but you will a Michigan library card to get
onto the web. Non-residents are able to register for library cards (which
takes about 5 minutes). If you are unsure, please arrive early to verify
whether or not you can get online, and register if necessary.

I've been told the meeting room also has a network jack available, so we may
want to use that rather than the wifi, as the wifi in the room may not be
strong / usable. If someone has a few hubs they could bring to the meeting,
that would be great. Access to the web is still metered by library cards,
even if we're hooked to a hub.

If someone could also bring some power strips, that would be great. I can
wrangle one at the very least.

If you have a hub or some power strips, please let us know so we can
coordinate bringing materials.

Thanks!

Do we know how many people are planning on showing, and what their
experience levels are?

How'd it go? Wish I could've been there. Looked for a summary on
ubuntu.com and didn't see anything:

Here's the summary from my blog. Should've posted this on the list as
well.

Jorge, Wolfger, and [Craig] participated in the June Ubuntu MI Bug Jam
this evening. I was really hoping more people would have shown up, but
with the combination of the weather last night (which knocked our power
out), the short-notice, and the distance for some people, it wasn?t
meant to be. But, that didn?t stop us from doing our 5-a-day today. In
fact, last count we were up to 31 bugs worked on today. Considering that
Wolfger is without internet access at the moment, I think that?s a huge
success.

Looking forward to the Global Bug Jam in August. Details forthcoming!
