[ubuntu-us-mi] Room Party

Hello everyone!

PenguiCon is now a mere 19 days away, which reminded me of a certain Room
Party.

Presently we have a copy of Revolution OS, and some swag from Canonical
(courtesy of Greg-g) to hand out. Would anybody else like to step up to the
plate and start the active preperation/organizing of this? I've secured the
room for Friday night, but due to other engagements at the con I may not be
able to actively man the room all evening.

Also, I still have the list of people who said they'd contirbute to the
purchase of the room. *I will find your monies!*

Then again, if you volunteered to organize it for me, I'd be willing to
cover your contribution simply because you made my life easier.

So, all in all, if I have to I'll herd the cattle along - but if you'd like
to step up to the plate and take this out of my hands and thus forth relieve
the workload I'll have at-con a bit, I would appreciate it very, very much.

Hello!

Due to even *more* stuff I have to do during the convention, I can no longer
shoulder the organization of the room party. We can therefore do one of two
things, considering no monetary value has really been spent on it:

1.) Somebody else can pick it up and run with it
2.) It can just not happen



I will still have the room, but if I dont hear from somebody soon I'll be
removing the Friday night Ubuntu Room Party from the PenguiCon lists.

I pulled the party from the official room party listings when nobody replied
after four days. I can make the room available (on Friday night only) if
you still want to organize something in it, though.
