[ubuntu-us-mi] November MUG Meeting: 12.10

Hey everyone,

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the next MUG meeting
(November 13th, 2012) will feature a "what's new with Ubuntu 12.10"
presentation. Now, you might ask "That's nice, Craig, but I'm already
using Ubuntu 12.10, and it's awesome, so I already know what's new with
Ubuntu 12.10". That's awesome. We're looking for some folks who would
love to come to the meeting to speak up about Ubuntu 12.10 and the great
new features and services that make up the new release.

If you're interested in participating in this discussion, please reply
to the list and let us know.

And if you'd rather not stand up in front of an audience and extoll the
awesomenes of Ubuntu 12.10, yo can still participate by hanging out and
showing your support.

Sounds great. But I can't get it to work yet. I was running the beta on my laptop for months. The official release version has a problem with my version 6 NVIDIA video card. Yeah, tried the latest driver - still having problems. I'll try it on some other systems. I just picked up a Dell D-830 laptop that I don't need. If anyone wants the laptop I'll let it go for $200. Otherwise I'll try 12.10 on it.
