Where's the bug: MySQL, ps, the kernel, other?
I find it somewhat hard to believe that MySQL has used up
1,184,018,576 CPU days.
# pgrep mysql | xargs ps -p
PID TTY TIME CMD
2494 ? 1184018576-22:52:29 mysqld
Especially, given that this machine has only been up for a bit over 20 days.
# uptime
20:11:19 up 19 days, 1:04, 1 user, load average: 1.49, 1.43, 1.39
# uname -srvmpio
Linux 2.6.32-26-server #48-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 10:28:32 UTC 2010
x86_64 unknown unknown GNU/Linux
# lsb_release -d
